Simple Search

To perform a simple search, type a word or phrase in the Search box at the top of the page and click the Search button. IBA Search returns a list of Web pages that match your criteria.

Improving your results

To make your search more effective, do the following:

1. Be specific.
   Try using terms that are unique, adding descriptive words.
2. Add synonyms.
   If you get too few results or Search doesn't find what you're looking for, add synonyms to your original words.
3. Check your spelling.
   A single misspelled or mistyped word can significantly change your results.
4. Learn from your results.
   Your search may not return exactly what you're looking for, but scanning the results may give you ideas for other terms.
5. Use Advanced Search.
   Advanced Search gives you greater control over the search terms.

Phrase matching
Use plus (+) between words in a phrase to get results that match that exact phrase. For example:

Lotus+Notes+Support

Requires that the exact phrase be found in all search results.

Use symbol *.
If you do not shure in the correct ending of the word you are searching for or you want to find all words that start from some letter combination, use symbol *. For example:

Comp*

Requires if you whant to find all words that start from Comp.

Advanced Search

1. Searching in section
   You can search for information in any section of our site. Just select the section you are interested in. Simply select the option that you prefer.
2. Sorting results
   You can sort your search results by relevance(default), by date ascending and by date descending. Simply select the option that you prefer.
3. Exact match
   Use exact match checkbox if you want to find exact word/phrase.
4. Search in found
   This option appears when search already found some information for you. Use search in found checkbox if you want to search for something in already found information.
